Not really. But my wife put the pressure on because we need to buy a home at some point.
 
I'm sorry but I find the comments in this thread kind of ridiculous. Every single stone ever posted in this forum was purchased from someone else at some point in time. It is the rare occasion that the resold stone is sold for less then someone originally paid for it. Given the scarcity of stones in market along with the demand, the price over time has gone up. If not for the "flipping" I would not have the amazing stone collection that I do.

This long running debate about "flipping" and the associated public shaming that self appointed board police employ is uncalled for. Honestly, no one wants to hear it.
I agree. The seller sets the price; the market sets the value.
