Sometimes you need something to use with your fancy stones and we've been working with our friend @Illyria on these. Glorious, chunky wrought clad kiris. I'll post here and IG more about these as I get closer to release.

What's the back look like? how thick are they? Looks very chonkalicious.
Need to take measurements still but they are quite thick. Designed this way to give a little more surface area for stone testing and a nice ratio of core steel to iron that will let you see how stones perform on both.

The back is a lovely abstract diamond pattern, my pictures didn't come out perfect on the back due to it being much more reflective, but I'll share those later this week as well.

Not the TT version, but very happy with mine from Ryan. Came with a much nicer finish, but I am good at Fing those up right now as a beginner ;). Also.... I happen to think getting a kiri is really helpful. It is obviously nothing like sharpening the round surface of a kitchen knife, but for me it was useful in learning to control pressure and orientation. It made me realize that I was creating low spots more than evening them out. I put a fat low spot on this Kiri by placing uneven pressure on it lol. I know.... I am an idiot :). It was a helpful beginner exercise to grind the rest of it down to even. Step 1... learn how to set up a completely flat surface hahaha.
