Gang,

I am here to make some deals. Prices are made to move. $25 off for each multiple purchase. I put the Masashi's on there since I couldn't choose just one and I have a stainless K. Karys k-tip that competes with it for attention. I usually sell a knife if it can't make it through a big sweet potato but these were all going to be keepers, so they all cut pretty dang well and aren't wedgers (except the sicard, it's a laser, laser). I feel I have too many to appreciate them individually and want to dwindle it down to 2 dozen so maybe I can use them more than once every 2 months. If I have the original box, It'll come with it. CONUS and PP G&S. INT'L? $15 USD towards it.

Sold!
Shirogami 1 - Stainless Clad24050182Magnolia and Water Buffalo HornYoshikazu TanakaI am the 2nd owner but it wasn't overly used. Sharpened once by the owner and touched up by me. Could probably use a sharpening. I was going to rehandle this one, but not, since I am selling. The best cutter I've gotten from Y. Tanaka. This is the mid-weight version (i've seen a 135g one!!!)

Satoshi NakagawaNakagawa/Morihiro made White 2 210 gyuto wide bevel. What's there to say? Got a good handle for the money. 1st owner, only test cuts, no edgework. I've sanded the handle, spine, and choil and it is SUPER comfortable now.
HinokuniJumbo Santoku$115>$100Shirogami 1 - Carbon Clad24056268Oak and Plastichttps://www.districtcutlery.com/hinokuni-jumbo-santoku-240mm/

Yukihiro SakaiThese can be hit and miss, but this is one of their hits. Everything was well executed and it cuts WELL. Won't get wedged in a big sweet potato but is a really hefty blade. Great price on W#1 that's well done. 1st owner, never sharpened, test cuts only.

Tabata IkenamiThis is a KnifeJapan purchase. I wanted to try a wide bevel from Ikenami. It's a good cutter and good food release. Super clean work. 1st owner, only test cuts. Got it sharpened at Tokushu.

Yoshikane HamonoThis guy really punches above its price point. I'll probably regret this one, a little refinement and this would be a world beater. 1st owner, test cuts only.

Itsu DoiThis is a fantastic do-it-all mid-sized kengato gyuto from Itsu Doi in his very well done Blue 2. Another chiseled k-tip. 1st owner, test cuts only.

Matt SicardThis is the first collab between M. Sicard/KasumiJLA. Sicard's HT of W2 is so freaking good. Keeps a stupid edge forever and very reactive. I don't reach for lasers much and this puppy is too sweet to sit on the sidelines. 1st owner

Masashi YamamotoMasashi's grinds are really well done. You can see the Yoshikane DNA in there but definitely has more style matching that performance. This one is a prep monster that is blade forward but can still do some detail work. This one was tipped but repaired. Original owner only touched edge up .
MasashiGyuto$350>$325SLD - stainless clad24052.7251Red Ebony and Water Buffalo Hornhttps://knifewear.com/products/masashi-kokuen-kiritsuke-gyuto-240mm

Masashi YamamotoThese are the freaking bomb. This is one that I waited for and it lived up to the expectations. Tall, nimble, thin with excellent fit and finish. There is some rubbing of the kurouchi finish from the previous owner. Looks like it was around the blade guard judging by the impression.

Fantastic J-knife laser. The blade has an great distal taper and hold's an edge forever. SRS-15 is awesome. I am the original owner, sharpened 4-5 times but not aggressively.

how much have you used the honyaki?
Not a ton, it is very reactive. I've used it for odds and ends may 5 times, but only done 1 meal with it. I've had 2 polished W2 steel knives and they are both insanely reactive. Still has the original edge with no touch ups that I can recall and still very keenly edged.

Those Masashi are so good, and the prices are 😲. I know his stuff doesn't get a ton of attention here but if I didn't already have both kokuens I'd be all over them. Glws
Yeah, he's slept on here and that's a shame because those Kokuen's are absolutely 🔥. It took a knife twice as expensive to displace it. He's a solid recommend and they're damned handsome to boot. I just posted on reddit where he's gotten more popular thanks to those who are constantly evangelizing him (me! For 1).

Good deal on that OEM Yoshikane too. Almost swooped
I am hoping that one doesn't sell. I can talk myself back into any one of these knives but those are just cool and fly under the radar. It cuts JUST like a Yoshi too. I'll definitely rehandle it if it kept. I will say, the one on there it isn't a fancy handle but it is well executed, smooth transition between materials and the blade insertion is clean. Just an excellent value all around, I am surprised they're not more popular.

He's way too underrated. I have his 240mm kuroshu. It's kinda crazy how thin the SLD can be ground. Easy to sharpen as well. I know it's semi stainless, but it's basically stainless. I cut citrus and other acidic ingredients with it all the time and it doesn't have a spec of patina.

Also, his gyuto profile is one of my favorites.

I have his standard gyuto and k-tip (per the listing). He uses VS1 for the Kaijin line and it is a beefier gyuto. The Kokuen k-tipped gyuto is thin like that but with some convexity, almost like a Walkschliff grind where the thickest part of the blade isn't the spine. It is damn impressive for a guy who is a one man shop too. I was talking to Knifewear about him and he is booked out until 2026 with projects and orders. He is slept on in the KKF community. Me and a buddy have been evangelizing him on Reddit and I think it's helped. Tons of Masashi NKDs.

The Ikenami is sold now. I have dropped the prices on the rest. Make me an offer, worst I can do is say no. Right now, I am not looking for a trade as I really need to reduce my numbers.
