For the bladesmiths....
This is a bar of 304SS clad Wolfram Special I made a few months ago. There is a nickel layer between the core and cladding, so I guess it's really go-mai, but notwithstanding. There's approximately 14" of useable material in the bar that is 55mm wide at its widest, and 53mm wide at its narrowest. The bar was given a proper normalizing cycle followed by a DET anneal and it's ready for profiling and HT. It is approximately .135 thick currently, with a core only .010" thick. I have checked it, it is adequately centered, though some minor adjustments can be made cold if desired.
While I have thoroughly examined this billet and am confident in the welds, SS clad san-mai is not the easiest thing in the world to make a knife out of, so I can't assume any responsibility if the blade fails in HT, though I am happy to provide recommendations on how to work with this stuff.
Ideally I think this is best suited to making a LWH low bevel type blade. I'm selling it mostly because I know I'm just not going to have the time to use it in the next year and because I prefer making ironclad blades.

Thanks for looking,
