What is a kosher clipping blade? Thnx.
Depending on the context, “kosher”means many things. Basically following the 613 or so commandments beyond the big 10.

For butchery, a straight knife of a certain length and sharpness is required to prevent the animal’s pain. Some old fine coticules were marked for kosher butchery.

For beards, you’re not supposed to shave completely, but you can trim.

I’m not sure what OP meant by “clipping”, but there are two ideas.

I have started to see this seller quite regularly in recent months; his stones sell relatively cheaply and he seems to be building a good reputation.

Im screaming internally trying not to buy even more stones.

There's a big aoto on BST, one of nutmeg's Uchis looks like an insane deal, a sunashi Maruo shiro, @ethompson has a few stones Im having to talk myself out of.

Edward can you bring a few stones to Boston let's trade pokemon.
If you can make it to ECG a little birdie tells me that some of my stones will be making a guest appearance.

Also yeah, those uchis from nutmeg have me feeling some type of way…

Interested in this too. I, for whatever reason, want to try polishing on synths before falling into the pit of jnats. Jon's description is very compelling.

If anyone is in the market for arkansas stones, KME sells Dan's 2x6 arks unbelievably cheap. They are legit and have not changed thier prices since I purchased a set 3-4 years ago...
I just noticed that the have dan's "washita" in stock?! I didn't think Dan was quarrying any of those. Clicked the buy button and will report my findings if one makes to my door.

ikkyu has some small uchis that are not a good shape for using as a bench stone, but theyre all WELL under 100 dollars.

I highly recommend these for anyone who already owns an atoma or similar as you can clean up patina really nicely with them. I appreciate kasumi powders exist but they seem to be hard to find tbh and one of these 50 dollar stones will last you for years IME.

I mean it sort of is though.

If you are a professional carpenter and just want to invest in one stone today to last you the rest of your career, maybe 5K isnt so bad? Pro tools are often really expensive.
I'm sure it's amazing. Practical? Not so sure. There are similar Nakayama stones that would also last a lifetime for much less. A stone that size is definitely a luxury.

And really, it was just a joke anyway.
