Strange TF Mab Slicer?

I found this Teruyasu Fujiwara online. I've never seen this particular shape produced by TF before. It's also not available on their website.

It's a double bevel blade, and the cladding is clearly part of the TF Maboroshi line. Any other details appreciated!

I’m going to guess this is either the worlds most used nakiri or, more likely, a knife that got snapped and reground in an interesting way

I'm gonna guess it got chipped really bad multiple times and just kept being reground. Now it's a Chinese duck slicer?

probably used to be a nakiri, its my guess . look like used to have the finger notch..

its a common thing in japan, big knives becoming a small petty\slicers with the time.

Is there any significance to the red handle? I couldn't find a single TF Mab nakiri with it online.
