Sugi Fujiwara San x Myojin San Ironclad Aogami Super 210mm

On sale Saturday Dec 03 at noon EST on Sugi Cutlery

With my second collaboration with Fujiwara Teruyasu, my dream knife has become reality. This batch was hand forged with in-house laminated iron clad aogami super. The steel has been treated in all aspects as the Denka. In fact, it started out as an ironclad Denka.

While I am enamored by the work of Fujiwara San, I wanted to have a refined finish. For that, I enlisted the help of the talented sharpener Myojin Naohito. I gave Myojin San free reign, with one request - “Please respect the intentions of the master”.

The result is mind blowing, I could not imagine such a beautiful knife.

These knives vary, this one is

I'd imagine the expression on his face giving his opinion on the knife, would look the same as TF's box portrait. Unless TF just gave him an unground blank. Which I'd imagine is in similarish condition to being ground.
