SOLD Sugimoto Cleavers 1 and 6 (DROP: $350 package) [SOLD]

Re-listing my sugimoto 1 along with a sugimoto 6 as a package deal. Nice grinds, aggressive cutters, but I prefer different edge profiles.

$365 now $350 [SOLD] for both cleavers, or individually as specified below.

1. SUGIMOTO 1

220x95 per manufacturer, 351g. Used once for test cuts. Minor patina. Paid about $215 all in, will let go individually for $185 now $175 [SOLD] shipped/insured CONUS, PP G&S. I eat fee.

2. SUGIMOTO 6

220x110 per manufacturer, 444g. Used once for test cuts. Minor patina. Paid $220.34, will let go individually for $200 now $190 [SOLD] shipped/insured CONUS, PP G&S. I eat fee.

I really do appreciate your interest, the problem is I researched shipping to the UK the other day for a different transaction and it was prohibitive. UPS quote was £180/$229 USD, FedEx was $233.94, USPS was cheapest option at about $100, but from what I've been told by an established UK knife maker, Royal Mail will almost certainly reject and return the package after receiving the knives from USPS because they are considered "bladed articles." I just think there is no way to make this work out economically, very sorry.

Try Pirateship or one of the larger label companies since they have negotiated rates that are way, way lower than that. I've shipped to pretty much every country at this point (mostly EU / Asia) and the label costs have never been more than ~$60 tops internationally from CONUS. (I've also never had any issues with customs rejecting packages - and I've shipped both through USPS and UPS - since Pirateship makes customs paperwork straightforward.)

GLWS! Kind of tempted by this package but I'm planning on picking up an Okubo mega-chuka so these would be redundant for me.

Really great value. I recently carefully checked the market before purchasing a Sugimoto sf 4030 for $200 on an EBAY auction. The price you are asking for the #1 and #6 together is less than the #6 alone.

Appreciate the comment - in fairness, the Sugimoto store on Amazon US sells them for really good prices, which is where I got these knives. I'm still selling them at a discount relative to what I paid, but it's not like I shelled out a full retail price that you'd normally see at a third party retailer. Just want maximum transparency here!
