Hey guys, I’m moving the WTT knives to a separate posting and so let’s slash these prices and get these bad girls to their new homes 🔪 🤙🏼

Muteki Funayuki- Paid $385——
NOW $225 shipped CONUS

White #1, 410 stainless clad
196 x 57mm

This is suuuch a sick little knife. It cuts like nobody’s business and feel excellent in hand. This is one of three of Cory‘s (the bladesmith at Muteki) knives I have owned, the large version of this was in my last WTS post. To be honest the only reason I’m selling it is because I have the 220 version of it that I use way more often and I find myself not reaching for this guy because of that. I love everything about this knife…the height, the shape, the balance but this handle is literally my favorite handle shape I’ve had. (all three of mine have had the same handle) It’s perfect. Fits like a glove and makes this knife so fun to use.
If you are looking for a killer line knife or if you have smaller hands and need a good all-a-rounder look no further.
Never been sharpened, stropped maybe once and still very very sharp.

Konosuke HD2 Gyuto -Paid $490—-NOW $325 shipped CONUS
235 x 50mm

This is the quintessential workhorse laser. It’s cuts any and everything with ease and the convex grind on this feels like butter. It’s nimble, it’s fast, and since I altered the ebony handle (I had about 10mm of the handle taken off the back) it’s balanced PERFECTLY. The ebony handle was a beautiful upgrade but it threw the balance way too far back and I wasn’t having that! I will include photos of the new balance point right which is at a pinch grip. This is an incredible all around knife that’s in excellent condition. Used very lightly at home, never sharpened, stropped a few times on leather but the edge is still screamin sharp.

*note this is a semi-stainless knife as you all know but it actually did patina just ever so slightly, so there are a few darker parts near the cutting edge. This could be Flitzed off if the buyer would like but I think it looks awesome😎

Konosuke Sanjo 180 Petty -$300 Shipped CONUS ——-SOLD
SKD-12
180 x 39

Again, this is a special one. The 180s are sought after for good reason! SKD-12 is an incredible steel, semi stainless and gets stupid sharp and stays that way. This one also has the gorgeous half octagonal or “shield” shaped burnt chestnut handle which compliments the KU of the blade so well. For being a petty this cuts better than many of my gyutos… as you can see in the choil shot it has a beautiful taper. Heftier in the back and on the spine out of the handle and then a beautiful convex down to VERY thin BTE. This cuts through giant sweet potatoes and carrots like butter. Seriously. I’ve done it. Little guy packs a serious punch. All of the Kono Sanjos that I have had are insane performers… this one cuts exceptionally.
I won’t be sad if I have to keep this… but I’d rather sell to someone who will get more use out of it! Knife is in excellent condition, used very few times and has never been sharpened.
It also comes with a matching Konosuke saya.

Shiro Kamo Extra tall Nakiri -Paid $200-
NOW $115 shipped CONUS— SOLD

Aogami super/stainless clad
167 x 63mm

I absolutely love this knife. It’s the only one of Kamo Sans knives I have owned but it’s so sick. It’s punches WAY above its price range.. to be honest it reminds me of a TF. The finish is kinda wabi sabi (which I don’t mind) but the steel is insanely hard and it’s stupid thin behind the edge. It’s has a beautiful forged s-shape so it moves through food with zero issue. It also has great food release. AND it’s so nice and tall… the specs are basically perfect for a Nakiri in my opinion. So how was it as inexpensive as it was?? No idea. What I do know is if you like a Nakiri that flies through veggies and you don’t have much to spend this needs to be yours. These extra tall ones tend to disappear pretty quickly and for good reason.
Again if this doesn’t sell quickly I would not be sad if I had to keep it😉

And I still have the MAZAKI 210 W2 Gyuto for sale as well! I may close the old post and just add it to this post… (can I do that? Is that what I’m supposed to do?) but let’s get that guy sold so how about :
$165 shipped CONUS——SOLD

Pics coming shortly! Love you all!❤️

Heftier Western made knives in general…
