Hi KKF,
I'm selling this beauty of a knife I got early this year from here:
https://www.kitchenknifeforums.com/threads/tadokoro-ginsan-240mm-gyuto.71692/
Selling for 370 EUR incl. the first 15 EUR for shipping, preferable to EU but not exclusively.
Nothing wrong with the knife, I bought it because I wanted to try Ginsan, Nakagawa and Tadokoro and like tall knifes, which are difficult to come by, by japanese makers.
But In the end I see my self not reaching for it much, and I think I just prefer western makers nower days, also I don't need multiple "plain" stainless knives.
Originally the knife had a surface finish that made food stuck to it a lot (not a geometry issue). I polished it up with some finger stones and natural stone slurry which resolved the issue. But the knife has some scratches from that exercise, did one sharpening on it after the polishing session, stropped a couple of times.
Dimensions:
Edge Length - 227mm
Height at heel - 54.5-55mm
Weight - 8.18 oz / 232g
Thanks
Flo
