putting some feelers out for a potential trade. I have a Takada No Hamono Blue #1 Damascus gyuto I’d be looking to trade for a 300mm or 330mm Damascus Sujihiki. Also Takada no Hamono. Preferable Tanaka Damascus.
I am also on the lookout for any Takada No Hamono 210mm Sujihiki.

- Takada No Hamono 300/330mm sujihiki
- Takada No Hamono 210mm Sujihiki (?)
FOR
- Takada No Hamono 240mm gyuto

Kanji on the back is the Japanese shop that ordered the knives from Takada, Tusbaya.
The bottom honyaki is a TnH 270mm honyaki, and the top is a 240mm Togashi X Yohei(Takada) honyaki.
Dang, goals! Both white 2? Don't wanna clog up the thread but would be interested to know how his white 2 honyaki is, only have tried blue and white 1.

The 240 is white #1 and the 270 is white #2. I’ve use the 270 a bunch and LOVE it. The steel takes an edge well and is crisp on stones. Easy to bring back on a 4K, often even just stropping will do the trick. I took it down to 1k maybe once.

I was told by Takada that it’s Nakagawa white #2, but was done in the shiraki Hamono workshop sometime in 2019/2020.

Haven’t used the 240mm white #1 yet.
