SOLD.
Catch and release. I love this knife--LOVE IT--but can't make it make sense given my stable of Sakai 240s.
Steel Type: Iron Clad Aogami 2
Handle Material: Ho Wood & Buffalo Horn Ferrule octagonal
Weight: 141 g
Height at Heel: 50mm
Overall Length: 388mm
Cutting Edge Length: 230mm
Handle Length: 144mm
Thickness: 3.18mm
Here is the listing from which I purchased it:
https://www.kitchenknifeforums.com/threads/xerxes-takada-no-hamono-hvb-dammy.64850/
And here is the knife on the Bernal page:
https://bernalcutlery.com/collectio...mm-gyuto-iron-clad-aogami-2-ho-horn-octagonal
Selling for exactly what it cost me: $410 shipped USPS in the CONUS.
I'll add that kitchensamurai1 kept this in great shape. The blade is oiled, packaging is clean and intact, and the knife is beautifully presented.
