WTB Takamura R2 nakiri - Uchigumo/Suminagashi

Looking for a Takamura Uchigumo R2 nakiri - sometimes Suminagashi is used as a descriptor.

I've been on the lookout for a while but have never seen one for sale. Haven't even found a retailer who has ever stocked one. Don't think it's a unicorn although it's starting to feel a little like a mythical creature - but there are photos. The one below is from their Hana series which has an octagonal wa handle. Not fussed whether it's wa or yo just very keen to try one. I'd prefer to purchase but willing to trade. Thanks.

I have only ever seen that on the swedish site of cleancut as Wa version. Overall super hard to find Takamura Hanas. I'm looking for the 210mm for quite some time. Only one shop did I find it in but for way too much money.

Recently bought from this site Japanese-knife-store on the page you can see that at the moment Japan->Australia is still a no no. They ship using Japan post but I think it would apply to all carriers.

Thanks for that. No photos of nakiris on their website but well worth a try. I'd only hit up retailers until now.

Been looking for while so happy to wait out the Covid-19 restrictions. Surprisingly, my son gets all manner of items shipped to him without restrictions. A couple of weeks back he got an item posted from Wuhan, Hubei Provence. We treated that parcel with extreme caution JIC.
