Moving expenses are mounting and as fun as this puppy is, I need a bed frame more
Picked this guy up on the forums a couple months ago and did what I do to all takedas that cross my path, grind down those awful shoulders and make a lightsaber, and If I’m being honest this is my best work yet. This knife MOVES through produce while retaining its food release and that amazing Takeda AS edge.
I fudged the right side of the blade and ground a little high up and had to push the shinogi up to bit to compensate so it didn’t look like it had a bald spot
The bevels are evenly ground it’s just its visual appearance suggests otherwise. I have a before and after pic of the choil posted to show the changes I made, which are even and consistent down the length of the blade. I managed to somehow nick the heel a tad but it should come out in the next sharpen or two.
The knife was polished on naturals , some of my better work, which I’m horrible at capturing pictures of please bear with me. The blade takes on a really awesome and stable patina. Have only used it a few times at home
Whoever buys this have a head of cabbage waiting for it’s arrival, it’s so damn fun
Dimension are
255x65 and a whopping 156 grams
Looking for $350 shipped conus
Lmk if there are any questions and thanks for looking!
