Wrought iron has inclusions and is as easy to abrade as other wrought irons I've sharpened.

Steel has porosity and inclusions and irregular banding. I've only seen these characteristics and inclusions in tamahagane in Japanese blades.

Edge taking is good but not as amazing as the very best steel/HT I've tried. I'd put it the bottom of top tier for me. Very sticky and crisp but it takes a bit of pressure or encouragement before it bites into hair. The best steels to me bite immediately so that's why the ranking for me
