No I waited too long and it sold out : / I'm also still interested.

I emailed Hitohira last year and was told it is a resinoid based stone made from mix of white alumina and fine natural stone powder.
 
I'm pretty sure that I saw it was described as both splash and go and a soaker depending on where it was for sale. Given that it's resinoid based can you assume that it would be like a Kitayama where it is labelled as a splash and go stone, but may feel better in use when soaked/permasoaked?
 
The synthetic stone is made by the other producer which have made a lot of resin type stones .
