Catch and release here - bought this from @Chefc a couple weeks back (SOLD - Price reduction Tanaka kyuzo kiritsuke kurochi Gyuto 240); used for prep for two meals.
Weight: 182g
Edge length: 230
Heel height: 51mm
Looking to get back what I paid for it: $450 shipped CONUS.

Great cutter just a little too blade forward for me. This is a unique TxK that is one of the earlier ones which is thicker at the spine coming out of the handle (~3mm), so it is blade forward with a balance point approx at the makers mark. Great for somebody who wants a more authoritative feel and weight with still the great grind and thin BTE.

I realize I could replace the Yakisugi Cedar handle and balance it out, but why replace such a nice (and good smelling!) handle. Hopefully this will fit somebody elses preferences better!

Updated pics just to show the slight patina from my use, but all the other pictures from the above thread are applicable. Comes with box, saya etc.
