Hello there,
My name is Tasos and I'm a chef at a private yacht, based in Athens, Greece. Been in the business for almost 11 years now and have worked in various restaurants in Switzerland, London and Athens. I've been mainly using Japanese knives for the past 5-6 years, as they were quite easy to find while living in London. Been back home for the past 3 years and decided that it's time for a gear upgrade, but availability in Greece is rather limited I would say. It would be really cool to get some recommendations on trusted websites that deliver to Europe, but also opinions about different knives.
I didn't know this forum existed, but it's amazing that there is such a big and active community of chefs/knives lovers so I'd be glad to be part of it!
I hope to get some new insights, more knowledge and exciting stories about the thing that all of us love: kitchen knives!
