As always, a very interesting day yesterday. Aside from the usual wackiness involved when my wife's clan comes over (like trying to feed the vegetarian who doesn't like vegetables and wiener dogs trying to make their way onto the table the minute my back was turned), I had the electronics on our oven short out with the bird about 10 degrees short of being done, a wife who decided to help out by dumping twice the appropriate amount of liquid into my garlic mashed (potato soup anyone?), and a sister in law who for reasons unknown picked up my 240 Carbonext off the cutting board and took most of the skin off the back of a finger.

All in all, a typical holiday dinner. :happymug:

sara and i were smart this year... dinner with friends, not family. I cooked everything and they helped. No one got hurt, all food turned out good, and good times (and no stress) were had by all ;)
