The linked video is from a woodworking site and focuses on chisels and plane blades, but, as a woodworker, I found it interesting and thought some here might also find it interesting too. Spoiler alert - water stones are too messy.

You guys on this forum got me stropping on leather using my Worksharp. I noticed it was better and smoother cutting.

I found it interesting and kind of convinced me on the lapping film but think I'd prefer SiC film rather than AlO. It just seems to make the most sense especially when using with a reference surface. The disposability of the system kind of turns me off of it though.

I will stick to my waterstones until I get bored of it though.
