KD 270 here. That is my most expensive knife for sure.
 
Mine would be a 250 mm Blue 2 Honyaki from Mert.

Once you have bought it, the cost of a knife is mainly relevent to flippers. Much more important after that is how it performs.

You should instead ask "what is the best performing knife that you have?"

Mine would certainly be this Hattori KD. Cants say its value as it varies quite a bit depending on buyer & seller if one can even find..
