Hey all,

Thought I'd share this old Elinox Rostfei 7.5" Chef knife I found at thrift store for $2 bucks.

Pins were pretty weathered but I got most of the green out, handle needs some sanding still. From what I can gather from google it's from 1957 before they switched to just using the name Vicorinox?? Does this sound right?
Anyways it's a nice little knife, a couple swipes with the steel and it was cutting through paper again. Needs a proper sharpening, but I think it'll make a nice addition to put in my travel kit.

If anyone else has some info on this knife, please share.

Nice find! I recommend Victorinox to anyone willing to listen. Great knives for the money.
Interesting to see that they haven't changed the concept ie. same profile and handle..

Thanks for the info Nice to know
agree that Victorinox is probably the best value knife maker
