Modern Asano Koma
This is a great piece of modern koma, not the kind with all of the tiny black dots that can scratchy. Very large at about 200g, and in a format that allows you to polish directly on it if you’d like (a rare treat!) All but one side is sealed. $195 plus shipping OBO

Vintage Asano Koma
This is an old piece with the red Asano stamp worn away at this point. The other stamps are still present though, of which you can see it is labeled koma. I find old school koma behaves slightly differently than modern koma in general, so here’s an opportunity to try a vintage piece. I believe this example is around 85g, and is sealed. $85 plus shipping OBO

Hatahoshi Koma
A beautiful example of an old school koma from a very renowned jnat brand, Hatahoshi. This piece is very pure in its makeup, and is very high quality. Hatahoshi koma originally came with stickers which rarely survive, but the other stamps have been beautifully preserved and sealed on this example. I believe this is over 100g. $100 plus shipping OBO

Vintage super pure koma
This piece is one of the purest pieces of koma I’ve come across. The brand is unknown, and the stamp on top reads koma nagura in blue-grey ink. The visual characteristics and cutting speed are quintessential koma in my experience, and it’s really hard to let this one go. $110 plus shipping OBO

Basically new Asano Mejiro, 258g
I think I used this once, but I have too many nagura so it sat in the drawer. It’s a really hefty piece, and the top is sealed. Asking $110 plus shipping OBO

Vintage unknown nagura
This little guy is looks and acts like tenjyou, so that's where I would put it in a progression. It only has the "pure authentic Mikawa nagura" stamp, so I'll give a great deal on this. $24 plus shipping.

Rare vintage boxed Asano Mejiro
These vintage Asano nagura rarely come with their original boxes, so this was a real treat to find and they are quite collectible. The red Asano stamp is faded, but still visible. $140 plus shipping

Antique Kiita Koppa Miyadaiku
A beautiful kiita koppa that was used by the Miyadaiku, the temple carpenters, in Japan. It is an antique with handsawn sides, is hard and fine, puts an amazing edge on a razor and can put an incredible polish on a knife. This is extremely hard to let go, but it has sat in the drawer for a little too long. Pics are from before it was sealed. 161 x 58-59 x 23.5
$400 plus shipping OBO

Unknown hard nagura benchstone
This one is hard, and with some soaking and a pre made slurry it performs well and is very fine. Because of its hardness it does require more skill to use, but the results can be stunning. I often see this surface pattern only on koma, and it’s fineness acts that way too. I can’t say it’s koma for sure though, so that explains the price. Sealed.

and of course this guy is still available:

Humongous Kiita
Bright yellow with maybe a tint of lime green. Hard, fine, and very grit rich razor finisher. Has all natural sides with gorgeous kawa that had a sparkling black element to it - if anyone wants to see that I took a video of it. That combined with the cloudy surface pattern are Nakayama tells, but I can’t officially say what mine it came from. There are two small fissures on one corner of the stone, but they have not affected the honing properties of this piece at all. It’s the biggest kiita I’ve ever seen.
