    Hi all,
For sale is my 240mm Toyama stainless clad purchased last month from JNS. I've used it 4-5 times, never sharpened. Not too heavy for a Toyama, and very thin behind the edge.

    Specs:
    • Heel to tip length: 242mm
    • Blade height at heel: 55.4mm
    • Thickness at spine: 4.7mm
    • Weight: 217g
    Conditions:
    • First owner, used 4-5 times
    • Factory edge, never sharpened. Will need a touch up if you want to slice through paper. I'm way too inexeperinced at sharpening, so I don't want to do it and potentially mess up your new knife.
    • Exposed edge has developed a nice dark blue patina (from forcing tofu on it, cutting pork belly chashu, and cutting a raw chuck roast for a beef bourguignon)
    • I have used 320 grit wet sandpaper to smooth out the ho wood handle and applied several coats of mineral oil to it. The wood looks darker and the grains more profound now. I don't have any problem with handle grip when wet.
Price: $415 shipped within the US.
Thanks for looking, and let me know if you have any questions.

The grind looks very different than what I have seen on a Toyama until today.
