Can anyone help with the translation of this plz?
I've got as far as master craftsmen but my translation app doesn't seem to pick up the full engraving.

I don't have that ability, but I hope someone comes along and can help. I am moving this to the knife section since more will see it there.

@dragjp is definitely right: it’s Kanetune/Kanetsune. Credit to them because I couldn’t quite figure out the character 兼.

Search 名匠 兼常作 and you’ll find this listing that has identical kanji to your photo.

Include the text in the bottom box with your search (本割込 DP) and you’ll find this catalog from Kanetsune Seki that will also look familiar.

Apologies to @dragjp I could have made my reply clearer, I wasn't convinced from what I could find from the initial response to my request.
Happily now from the further info I have been able to answer all of the questions I had regarding the knife.
