Here’s another one. This is a Tsubaya Tanaka in blue number 1, the edge is 230mm, height is 50mm and it weighs 215 grams. It has a custom handle, probably the nicest/cleanest handle I’ve had Made, the install is perfect and workmanship is on another level. He’s made three handles for me and has become my go to for handles. It has had one full progression.

I’m asking 475.00 shipped. That’s what I paid for the knife alone.

Price drop 425.00.

Per the OP post, he made it and it’s the “the nicest/cleanest handle I’ve had made.”
"... had made." As in had someone make it for him. I read it as he made it himself at first, too :)
Regardless, beaut of a handle, nice knife, and @nakneker is a good guy to deal with.

I wish I explained things clearer, Andreu knows how bad of a job I do sometimes. The guy who made the handle has to remain anonymous until I get four others done. 21 years old and on fire. He’s done two westerns and three wa handles for me. There’s a lot of good guys out there for sure, this kid has been impressive is all.

Thanks for the good words too! Much appreciated!

@Andreu and @nakneker , these two guys are a couple basically :p
Well I’ll admit to chatting daily with Andreu and couple other guys, it’s one of the best things about this hobby, meeting life long friends, doesn’t hurt that Andreu landed me my first hard to get knife either. Good guy!

I love it. Just awesome. What is the ferrule material?
Thank you, I’m pretty sure it is African Blackwood. I have a bunch of wood and handle materials and I’ve made a few handles but I’ve had most of them made by quality handle guys. In this case I selected the wood, sent him the materials and he did his thing.

My wife and seven kids would be happy to discuss with you if you really need your doubts cleared up.

"I was just joshing, don't get your panties in a bunch" Barry Goldberg... On another note 7 kids :oops:. How do you find time for knives?

We’re empty nesters, life has slowed down.... knives are easy.

Guys, this is a BST thread and it is getting too long for a potential buyer to get the relevant information.
