Ultimate Toast recipe
Per @Michi request I have finally developed the perfect toast recipe after extensive (1 session) testing.
Recipe- Ultimate Toast 2 Ways
Ingredients:
1 slice of Sara Lee Artesno potato bread, or slice of sliced bread of your preference
13 g of Kerrysgold butter, room temperature, or the best quality butter you can find.
Cheese Toast
1 slice of Sara Lee Artesno Potato Bread, or 1 slice of sliced bread of your preference
1 slice of the cheapest American Cheese you can find
Optional:
1 pinch of your choice of dried herbs, I used Herb de Provence
1 pinch of fresh cracked pepper
Preparation:
1. Set your Anova Precision Oven or Rationale Combination Oven to 450 F at 20% Humidity with the fan on.
2. For cheese toast, place slice of cheese on slice of bread and top with herbs and cracked pepper. Once oven is ready place slices of toast into oven.
3. Toast to desired doneness. My preference for buttered toast ended up being 1 minute and 45 seconds for a toast with a golden brown crispy exterior with a soft fluffy interior. For cheese toast it was read at 2 minutes and 15 seconds for a cheese toast with a nice domed bruleed cheese top.
3. Remove from oven and spread room temperature butter over slice of bare toast.
4. Slice into precise geometric pieces for convenient eating. Serve & Enjoy!
