Purchased while I was on holiday in 2005 from rural Northern Vietnam, apparently forged from a leaf spring

Has some forged Distal taper and handle

Note: it's not rust on the blade its still has some sort of protective stuff that will need to be removed

It might also stop my wife from deciding that my Shibata TT is the best thing to be hacking up pork ribs with, as she did last week .

Got away with just a couple of small chips, but I was unamused nonetheless.,,
