Hey yall, hope everyone had a great Holiday! Up for sale is a old school Nakayama Kiita w nashiji.

It's a very fine, mirror finishing stone with no slurry medium. With slurry, it cuts insanely fast and leaves a nice Kasumi finish with great contrast.

This stone can is very versatile for how hard/fine it is and can be used for knives, smaller tools and razors. I tested it with all of the above and got great results.

It comes fixed on a wooden Dai and isn't the largest piece but performs excellent. Would be a great way to experience an authentic piece of Nakayama Kiita at a very affordable price!

150×60×17 mm

Asking $175 + $5 shipping, USPS Priority.

Paypal and Venmo accepted.

As always, feel free to contact me with any questions regarding this stone or others!

Well this'll go quickly! Very attractive price for someone to get their hands on one of the world's great sharpening stones. :)

Thanks! That was definitely the goal to make this affordable/accessible to everyone. It's such a versatile stone for such a hard stone. Very different with/without slurry and a really fast cutter.

The thing I like most about it is how well it performs for both knives and razor use.

I can well imagine, it sounds like that rarest of things - a stone that can do all of; knife sharpening, bevel polishing, and razor honing at a top level. I'm generally not a massive fan of a lot of jnats because I find many of them quite slow, but good Nakayama Kiita are a glaring exception to that. Really properly fast stones for the level they're working at.

Nice size too - big enough for knives but not too big for in-hand razor honing, gonna make someone very happy indeed. (If I hadn't just spaffed a load of money on a Rosy Red I'd have PM-ed already!)
