For sale.... Another one that pains me and I've had for years.
200x75x45 and over 1700g.
This is an example of an early mined Nakayama cheese brick with Iro tendencies in an extremely hard ultra finishing stone. Not for the faint of heart.

Faded Marika end stamp as well as very large hatanaka stamps on the bottom skin are signs of age and I speculate that this stone was mined pre 1950.

Instant inky black swarf and absolutely mirrored core steel with fine details in cladding are revealed.

Yes there are cracks but in the many many years I've owned and used this stone they have never caused an issue. You could seal it if you wish.

2200usd, north American shipping included.

Hello. It’s a beautiful stone! Is it still available? How is it for straight razor finishing? Thank you
