SOLD Watanabe Gyuto Trio - Iron Clad KUs 240 and 210, 180 (180 sold)

Hi KKF,

Have a trio of Watanabe gyutos for sale. The 240 and 210 are old school iron clad examples and I picked up the 180 a little bit ago directly to complete the little set. They compliment each other very nicely. The 240 is beefy, the 210 cuts like crazy, and the 180 is nice for smaller tasks. I'll also include the lovely tenugui towel as well to complete the aesthetic!

Asking $1,200 for the set Stainless 180 sold, bigger two remain.

Wat 240 - Iron Clad:
Specs: 245mm x 58mm x 290g

*Note small scratch on left side of bevel. Caught the knife while putting a final edge on after polishing...

Wat 210 - Iron Clad:
Specs: 213mm x 49mm x 222g
Handle - custom African Blackwood

Wat 180 - Stainless Clad:
Specs: 185mm x 46mm x 136g

I'll post a better choil shot of this one later when I get home. The edge doesn't curl like it looks to be doing here...I'd put this near the top cutters I've experienced - slightly behind Kip & Tsourkan, on par with Shihan and Kato!

I've had a few people ask - not very interested in selling just the 210. If no love on the set, chance I withdraw the 210 and just sell the big guy.

@Gregmega - I love CA garage storage. I wish I could dig up a picture of how much midwestern junk I crammed into our little garage the 1 year I lived out in SoCal...
