Catch and release.

This was a knife I wanted to experience and it cuts well but isn't a keeper for me.

This hasn't been sharpened or stropped and was used for a single bag of carrots.

There is a small bit on the heel that wasn't polished (according to Zahocho) but this wasn't noticed until after I used the knife. This is purely aethestic and I do not notice any textural differences when running through that bit with my fingernail.

I paid $422 with shipping from Zahocho and the price direct from Watanabe is about $412 (44,000 yen + 3,600 yen shipping).

Asking: $400 shipped CONUS

This knife may not be for everyone but a lot of people swear by Toyama/Watanabe SS gyutos (I know I love mine). This should be picked up pretty quick. GLWS

May i ask you how tall it is and how much does it weigh?

I don't have any measuring tools at the moment but I would say at least 53mm height (based on other knives which I know the measurements for). The weight is 214 grams.
