Couple of small knives finished and shipped out! A lot of forging the last week, damascusbillets for makers and and a lot of blanks! Will go back to finishing up some projects this week.

What an axe!!!

Thanks Manuel! It’s a woodworking axe for skiajl6297 (Adam) i’ve made a couple but wasn’t happy with the result, this is the first one i liked, i did put a handle on it this past weekend but ended up knocking it of for different reasons, will do a new try this week

Whohoo nice axe If you want some axe-advice Jonas talk to Julia Kalthoff, shes been here with me grinding her sloyd axes a bunch lately. She used to be ceo for wetterlings, knows a trick or two on axes I think.

Thanks Robin! I actually considered doing that. I have also glanced towards Hans Karlssons axes to get some inspiration :)

Couple of blades pre heattreat, all survived, suji at 385mm came out dead straight from the quench, i guess luck exists

What size are the 2 outer knives? Let me know the details!

385? That’s a sword!!

From left to right it’s 270, 185, 385, 230ish and 240.

Swords are good for fighting off aliens i hear

Not much details, sorry

From left, 270 wrought iron sanmai, 1.2519 coresteel, approx 58mm height.

Then a 185 stainless sanmai with 1.2519 coresteel, height will be reduced some due to a small delam nere the heel.

385 suji, wrought iron sanmai with 1.2519 coresteel

Last but not least two damascusblades in tigerdamascus, one 240 and one 230.
Sneakpeak of the pattern:
