Decided to see what all the fuss is about with Shirogorov. Have to admit, they’re pretty slick. Very nice fit and finish. Nicely ground blade, and thin behind the edge. Looking forward to carrying this one to see how it is in daily use. Unfortunately, the folder scene appears to be a deeper rabbit hole than kitchen knives ….

Stellar is my favorite great pickup and welcome

What is everyone’s favorite OTF EDC?

I’m thinking about riding that Microtech train.

Have the bench made adira MagnaCut flip and it’s making me be wanting more

I know steel is not all but hard to say no to 65+ HRC PM60. Before this I pretty stay away from crossbar type of lock, my only one NOC is kind hard to operate, and Omega spring just don’t give me confidence. But this one is really really smooth

Man exos are so fun but I'd kill myself so fast with one
If you fidget at all, you gotta experience this man. It's like the Winterblade Co Factor to me, a knife I gotta try once in my life. The acoustic on this one is cool as well.

Yeah had a factor, cool knife. And I played with a full size exo before at ccks, was super fun...I just know it would end in trouble for me lol

I've made a lot of unnecessary purchases in my life. But the one I made recently is the one I most regret lol. I bought a Null knives Raiden 2. Still hasn't been made it's going to take like 4 more months. I promised myself I would never buy a pocket knife this expensive but I did. I am pretty certain I'm selling it once I receive it. And no I can't cancel it. They were clear that if you cancel you won't get your money back until production is over since they won't be monitoring for cancelations or something like that.

Why would you regret that? I am friends with the owner, great guy and I have had a Raiden, it's a really great knife for a good price.

Oh I have no doubt it's an excellent knife. Personally, I think it's too much for me to pay for a knife. If I couldn't afford it I wouldn't have bought it. And I absolutely do not have money laying around. But like I said it's a lot of money. I'd rather spend that on a kitchen knife lol

When I say it's a good price...reate the manufacturer was on par with a lot of full on custom made knives in the 5, 6, even $800+ knives from a few years ago. Even now, most consider them pretty good bang for your buck. They used to be stellar when they could be had at $300 or less, but they are still great. You might feel happy when you get it.

It's such an interesting world. All the folder guys think I'm crazy when I spend what I spend on chefs, and then vice versa, weird there isn't more of an overlap of people that do both.

Worse comes to worse, sell it on reddit knife swap when you get it, or the null knives Facebook page

I can absolutely see why people spend much more on pocket knives. I heard some people have dropped like 20k on a half face blades limited edition knife. Now that to me is insane lol but who am I to judge. And yeah I hope I don't fall in love with it once it arrives haha. I have sold a couple knives on knifeswap so I have no doubt it'll sell it I don't keep.

Echoing Jedy's thoughts on the Raiden. It's the crown jewel of my collection right now. Most of my folding knives is around 100-200 so the Raiden is definitely outside my comfort zone. It hurts dropping that much on a folder but Bill's design just speaks to me. Nothing is off the table but I would have a hard time parting with it. Play with it when it gets here see how you like it, passing it along should be easy enough though.

In today's world, I do think it could be worth even a bit more. I think it's a beauty in every aspect. But yes it's hard to drop so much. I currently carry a benchmade mini taggedout in the OD green which is my favorite color. An excellent piece that costs $300 but I paid $150 for it brand new that's why I bought it lol.

One other thing to mention, I bought the Raiden right now that I'm off of work from hip surgery so maybe that's why it felt extra expensive lol. I've been off almost 4 months but I get back to work in 2 weeks. Once I'm back I'm sure it'll be easier to stomach the money spent and I may keep it haha.
