This is the thread for sharing your cookie and sweets secrets. Don't limit yourself to "Christmas specials". What do you prepare for your family or your customers at the moment?

For me there is no way around vanilla crescent cookies. There is even knife action involved for portioning the dough.

My wife is the baker in our house. My mother’s main thing was Christmas cookies. She died last January so this year she is making the full Monty in memorium

Chocolate chip
PB blossoms
Vanilla Rings
Almond crescents
Cream cheese cookies
Lemon spritz
Sugar cookies
Date bars
Chocolate oat bars
Raspberry shortcake bars
Homemade marshmallows
Pecan tartlets
Walnut tartlets
Kifli

Shopping trip this weekend included 10lbs of butter, 20lbs flour, 8lbs of nuts, etc.

All butter pie dough rolled thin with a layer of cinnamon sugar/butter mix spread on and another layer of dough on top. Then cut into thin strips and twisted before baking. There is a nice sugar glaze on top.
