Gday people
Up for grabs are 3 stones, I’m slowly shifting my interest from stones to knives and want to free some funds for knives.
All items shipped from Sydney, Australia, willing to pay $15 USD for the freight, you cover the rest, to the US is about $40. Australia domestic shipping is for free
1. Ikarashi - 195x63x83, 2115g $135 USD
Pretty big unit, sharpening feels chalky, a bit like the other Aizus I’ve tried, slightly coarser but not by much, dark juice comes out after a stroke(after refreshed)
2. Aizu - 205x63x36, 1073g $250 USD
Nice clean Aizu, easy to use, not overly hard or soft.
Sharpening feels chalky but not as much as Ikarashi. 3.5-4/5 in terms of hardness
3. Suehiro SNE 320 grit - stone only, $55AUD shipped(I doubt anyone would want to buy it off me oversea, aud only)
Bought from Migoto, Suehiro Debado SNE #320 Grit
It’s a good stone, however, I have a few stones around the same grit range and I prefer them over this stone.
