Never clicked with the VG10 steel, but this is one of the best handles on the market bar none.Very comfortable and lasting: the Hattori FH.
Which western makers make the best micarta western handles?
i have a haku inox from mtc that’s my favorite. the knife itself is a regular western handle stainless gyuto but the handle has a matte finish that’s comfortable. otherwise the handles are all mostly the same

how they’re relevant? my mistake for misreading the question as western handle instead of western maker handle. and also please excuse me for mislabeling the handle as micarta instead of polyoxymethylene. good luck finding the best micarta handle produced in the “west”I find it weird that I have to point it out, but Haku (i.e. low-end Nenox) and Hattori are Japanese makers, not western makers.
For that matter, Haku's are listed as having polyoxymethylene handles, not micarta handles, so I have no idea how they're relevant at all.
Those are pretty awesomeMarcus Lin, Malaga Spain
