OK, we actually don't need one on this forum. Other places though.....
Hehe.... @ian; i thought I saw a few rogue serifs around the place... thought I was losing my mind...
I feel like this feature (the like function) should be an option. On many forums I frequent this is an option. If you opt out no one can give you "good or bad points" and neither can you, and if you want to enable the system you can.
I say lets have both! Those that dont like it they dont need to have it and those that do can use it. Simple as that, then everyone is happy... Its not very often you can please both sides of the pond but in this case I feel you can.
LIKE the LIKE.
Either it is on, or it is off. I can set it where it works for member user groups, and/or in specific forums. But not individual changes.
How about a routine so Michi likes everything???
Not a bad idea. Unfortunately, I don't like pineapple on pizza…
That's a given. Nobody does - except communists.
I possibly could pull that off. Take a little work.
I feel a conspiracy coming on…
It is not that I doubt your administrative prowess.... But no routine could out-Michi, Michi!
.... wait a minute... this all started around the time Michi joined!!!? Maybe Michi is a routine
I LIKE it!
I’m sorry Dave, I’m afraid I can’t do that.
Now, I like that. Arthur C Clarck references are always welcome.
Like? Irrelevant. Love it! Most apt quote. Funny too!
Now we need not just a "Like" button, but a "Love" button, too, it seems…
I would have liked that if I could.
I did like that... not that you would know it... But I guess now you do!
Thanks for reimplantation of the like button!
It's a side effect of a test. I'm not sure if staying or going. But your post gave me 2 bits of information for my test.
I like when I don't have to quote a post just to write LIKE
I like being in a place where people explain what/ why they like something vs clickung a button... this is a forum for thought afterall.
Sure, but often a message that I like is short enough that a detailed explanation of what I like about it is unnecessary. And I’d prefer not to dilute the content of a thread with lots of “Like!” posts.
I prefer the like button to scrolling through a bunch of "nice knife" comments.
The like button doesn't prevent thoughtful posts, but it can eliminate some thoughtless ones...
man, see what I mean? this is terrible.
i'm stoked its back... i'm too lazy to type "like" most of the time
Separate names with a comma.
