So this is a 205mm x 86mm full S-Grind honyaki Chinese Cleaver. In @groundflatstock Sheffcut high carbon steel. Which is amazing! And produces a vivid Hamon. In this case a polished one.
This is such a sweet knife but I still havent gotten into where I reach for a cleaver. I have loved using it but I have to plan for it and it deserves more use. Used about 5 times and has some onion patina shown in the last pick. No stropping or sharpening, honestly a great steel so far, better than 26C3 from what I have seen.
