Just wanted to share some images of one I am working on. HHH Crazy Lace pattern damascus Hunting knife.

Full tang integral style blade. 1080 and 15n20 steels HT to RC 60. Tapered tang with matching distal taper blade.

First photos are as I was fine tuning and working the blade and tang. Then the dark etch photos was after my first test etch. This etch helps me to find the scratches that I may of missed to this point. and give me a better idea how the pattern looks!! You can see some small scratches it ya look in the pictures that were almost impossible for my eyes to see until I do a test etch. :D

After much more hand sanding and etching The blade has been marked HHH and its finally ready for me to select and make the handles for this blade. Any suggestions?

This one is gona be available when its completed.

Blessings and thanks for checkin out the thread!
Randy

Hot diggety dawg! That integral is SWEET!

Hard to go wrong with desert ironwood burl, just sayin. Something that won't clash with the damascus pattern but really complement it. Maybe some HRB with swirly grain that kinda mirrors the crazy lace pattern? Might be too matchy tho. ABW with dark grain would be subtle but super classy. All those seem like they would work good on a working knife too?

So many choices... :)

Red mammothz with aerospace carbon fiber accents. People love mammoth and people love carbon fiber, nice kydex sheath in black to signify it's meant to be used.
