I'd like to find some higher-end, fuller-sized stones to broaden my collection. 2000 or finer, perhaps a Haida Gwaii Hone, Belgian or Coticules, True Hard Arkansas/Translucents, Vermont Greens, Naniwa 12K, Zulu Grey and the like. JNats are out of the budget. If you have any cool stones collecting dust, please shoot me a PM and we'll work it out.

No idea about the prices of Belgian Blue in the US, but in Europe small ones are so cheap — as it is a by-product from Coticule mining, and comes in huge amounts — that shipping costs are in no proportion.
Getting used to small stones as well has improved my sharpening tremendously.

Ardennes-coticule.be has plenty in stock right now with fair pricing. Describe what you want to Rob and he'll pick out something appropriate for you. I've been extremely pleased with the fast coti he sent me, so much so I ordered I just ordered a bigger one.

Bump! Now's your chance to shed some stones so you'll have more knife money!
Got any designer stones to part with?

1315...out.
