I got this a while back from CKTG and looking to make some changes to to collection. It's in good condition and barely used, just has some base patina started.

I'm open to selling and/or trading for most other knives. If you have something in mind, feel free to reach out!

160mm Kohetsu AS Nakiri - sold

150mm Kikuichi Carbon Elite Honesuki
  • Weight: 5.6 ounces
  • Blade length: 155 mm (6 in)
  • Overall length: 275 mm (10.75 in)
  • Spine thickness at heel: 2.5 mm
  • Blade height: 40.2 mm at the heel
This little guy helped me break down last years turkey with ease! It has a 70/30 grind on it and some base patina on it as well.

Asking $100 USD for the Honesuki or trades

Bump.. will do 190.. shipping included for the pair. I really can't go lower.. still open to trades

I’m surprised that both of these knives haven’t moved. I have this Kikuichi honesuki and it’s my first choice off the rack for many jobs. It’s especially good at removing silverskin from tenderloin. It takes an edge easily and is great at disassembling poultry. I keep the base of the blade dull for scraping chicken legs. The nakiri is a great little knife for vege prep by a guest helping in the kitchen. The only knife your “helper” won’t accidentally “tip”. Both knives would make an excellent gift to a wife, girlfriend, parent, son, daughter, brother or sister who never has a decent knife to use when you visit. $190 for the pair is, imo a totally sick price.

Thank you for the kind review! I agree with what you said. I initially bought the honesuki for Thanksgiving turkeys and other related butchery jobs around the kitchen and has served me very well. As for the nakiri, it was reccomended to me from CK2G and after a few uses, I found myself looking for something different in my personal collection. Both are knives I wouldn't mind keeping at all.. I just needed the cash to reinvest into my professional roll.. so I found myself steadily lowering the prices. I mean, the Kohetsu was bought at $160 and the Kikuichi was $120. I hate going below $200, but hopefully they serve some else as good as they've served me.
