I'm letting this knife go with a heavy heart as I probably won't be needing this knife anymore.

I was left with two choices to either be disrespected or to leave the job and I chose the latter. Having done nothing wrong, being racially discriminated by my junior and told I was not fit for the job has left me lost in life, maybe I was truly not fit for the culinary industry.

Knife is not OG Grind, I personally grind it to my liking, thin edge while having some amount of convexity. Handle is mono walnut, tried my hand at Newham's design with a museum fit cap. Saya is made with 3P design using walnut too, to make a pair.

Edge length: 235mm
Heel height: 54mm
Weight: 218g
Steel type: SS Cladded Ginsan

Asking price 280USD + 15 shipping worldwide.

Any questions regarding the knife please leave a comment or DM is fine too

Sorry to hear about your situation.

Where did you buy it / where are these Xinguos coming from? I’d love to see a bit more of his work and understand if this is part of a range of knives that he produces or a custom etc.

Thanks!

Xinguo is a knife company from China, famous for their custom-made knives. Anything you can think of, they probably can make it. I got this knife as a collab between Syoukon Hamono and Xinguo, from Syoukon Hamono. Sad to say the OG Grind from Syoukon was underwhelming, different from what I've seen on Xinguo's WeChat (China's Whatsapp) and Bilibili (China's YouTube) profile. So I'd highly recommend you to get something direct and ask for specs/tell them what you need. I currently have no ways of how to contact them other than these 2 platforms so I'm sorry I cant be of more help.
