HI all,
I find myself in a predicament with too many gyutos and only two hands so hoping to sell some off to balance the books a bit.
Willing to ship international - will cover first $20 after that would buyer cover the rest.
Y. Tanaka Blue1 210mm (mystery sharpener) asking:450 400 350 OBO
Original owner, purchased from Tokushu Knives
\\MSRP- $650
Great little knife but because it is a Sakai knife it does come out a bit shorter (estimating… 200mm in blade length when I compare it against my other “210mm” knives. It has a custom handle from Out On a Limb. I find the handle is very comfortable because it is larger and fits my medium to larger size hands well. It does put the weight right at the choil.
I also opted for the professional sharpening from Tokushu otherwise not touched except for a few onions and stuff.
I would say the grind is pretty medium- definitely a solid medium work horse but is very nimble.
I wont be horribly sad if this doesn’t sell though…only used once or twice never sharpened after the initial
Specs:
Spine: 3.5
Height: 45.77
Weight: 118g
Cladding: Damascus
Ryusen Blazen Wa handle 210 (R2). asking:250 200 CONUS SOLD SOLD SOLD
Original owner -purchased from KnifeWear last year for about… $330
Wonderful knife very light and nimble. The tip is also very thin. Has a few small scratches (not sure how they got there… tried my best to capture them in the light but they are hairline and a bit hard to capture on photos (I’m not the best photographer).
