Thinking about picking up a yoshihiro kuro gyuto and petty in blue. Did some research but didn't come up with too much. Any thoughts or reviews would be great. Thanks for any input.
 
I have a Yoshihiro blue #1 210mm suminagashi deba. Pretty great knife. I know this doesn't help you much but it's pretty hard, gets screaming sharp and chips once in a while. This could be due to the nature of the blade's purpose however. Sharpens up easily, holds its edge quite well and has a good response to stropping.
