Is Yoshihiro a brand name or is it the name for Mazaki knives? I've seen the Yoshihiro web site is it a outlet for knives?

Its a JKnife brand with over 100 years history, with a retail outlet in Beverly Hills, that also sells knives that are commissioned from other makers like Mazaki

Interesting company - prices seem reasonable but Mazaki prices have gone through the roof lately.
i just got a yoshihiro, although it doesn't have a blacksmith name attached to it, i'm very happy with the knife and the service. their kurouchi finished is pretty rough, but their steel is well made.

Very good deals considering they provide you oil for carbon blades and a rust eraser, probably worth $10-$15.
Their handles were thick and well made. blade is a heavy duty everyday use blade.

The Maz W#2 blades are still well priced vs B1/2 and dammy
