I recently got a 210 Yoshikane Black Damascus so I’m selling my almost identical YS. This blade is super thin at the edge and a great cutter. Used it to prep a few meals some very light patina on the core as seen in the picture on the knife stand. Includes the Konosuke saya (which I stained black cherry) and box. 215 at the edge and 45 at the heel. The handle is heart shaped - half octagonal , half oval and very comfortable. These are $360 at CKTG , selling for $350 includes US postage.

I do not know which semi stainless steel is used in this knife; but it is easy to sharpen and gets "wicked" sharp. Because of the geometry it is a bit of a laser. The biggest drawback is the small handle (though fine with me) and he has fixed that. Great deal GLWS.

Did you compare the Dami and YS against each other? How similar are they?
I have a Dami 240 and thought about getting a YSM 210.

The YS is a little thinner - the edge definitely has nail flex. Maybe slightly more sticky with potatoes - otherwise the same. If you like your Damy you’ll like the YS
