I'm selling this to free up some space and maybe put some money aside towards a custom.
This is a fantastic knife that really excels through everything, particularly though through dense veg like carrots. Has a nice distal taper to it and has been one of my favorite knives in the kitchen since I got it. The cutting feel and overall f&f is top tier, with the weight giving it a comfy feel. I would describe this knife as a midweight gyuto but it handles extremely well despite the extra heft.
There are some extremely mild scuffs from a sharpening session with some mild patina on the blade. Overall though the knife is in great shape, it has never been tipped or chipped, and has only been sharpened twice.
Withdrawn, deciding to keep it.
