Hi! I'm selling my Yoshikazu Ikeda Honyaki Gyuto. It's been refinished by Epicurean Edge to give it a cleaner finish. Comes with a custom-fitted Saya / Sheath from Epicurean Edge, as well, in its original box.

Selling for: $800 --> $600.00
MSRP: $1090.80 + WA Tax + 150.00 (Finish) - Purchased from Epicurean Edge
Condition: Used, but in phenomenal shape. Used a total of 5 times, purchased in the last 3 months. It has a light patina on the surface.
Reason for Selling: It was a fantastic knife for me to start my Japanese knife journey; however, alas, my tastes have changed. That is simply the only reason I'm selling!

Here are the specs of the knife:

Maker: Yoshikazu Ikeda
Blade length: 8.25 in.
Total length: 14.20 in.
Blade height (at heel): 1.80 in.
Blade thickness (near bolster): 0.12 in.
Item weight: 6.72 oz.
Shipment weight: 11.4 oz.
Blade: Hand forged honyaki Shirogami 3 (white #3) carbon steel with an oil quench
Bolster: Buffalo horn with a bone spacer
Handle: Macassar ebony

Buyer covers shipping in US.
