2nd knife that came in yesterday. Tetsujin Labo Blue 2 Kasumi 240mm Gyuto with Ebony, Double Blonde Horn and Silver Rings.

Came in this morning and installed the new handle since it was only purchased blade only. Tetsujin Labo Ginsan Ukiba 240mm Gyuto with Viet Ironwood Burl, Double Marbled Horn and Nickel Rings. Now my Tetsujin Ginsan is complete.

OMG! If I haven’t bought anything these past few days and saw this sooner…😮‍💨

Finally used my Kagekiyo B1 Damascus Stainclad and damn….The patina shows on the Hira side of it too. 😍🔪👌🏼

Removed the Etchching and old patina. Went back to Full Mirror Polish and used it right away for work. Galaxy 🌌🔪✨😍

Boil the vinegar and make sure prep the knife good clean.

Long process but first I used Koyo polish to remove etching and patina. Then used Diamond paste then back to Koyo. Did one last pass with diamond paste then finish with Koyo polish.

From Etched to Patina then back to mirror polish 😊

First use of my Nakagawa Mizu Honyaki B2. Hitting the reset and see how it looks with mirror polish finish.

NKD! Nakagawa Blue 2 Mizu Honyaki with Resin Body, ferrule, Collar and endcap with Brass and Yellow Liner spacers handle. Been working and playing with this for the past few days and I finally finished it. Not seeking perfection but it’s good enough for me since it will be a daily work beater. 😌🔪👍🏼

B Boiled some white vinegar and soaked it for couple of minutes. Reacted pretty fast.
